also the fact that there’s the whole ‘fitness’ aspect to this machine, kids have a fairly convincing argument when they’re walking by the electronics section in kmart.

Don’t you mean everyone ‘needs’ to Wii? My 9 y.o. son just bought one (yes I made him save for half of it at least) and now I am looking for any excuse to confiscate it so I can play.
