The Complete List of Australian Marketing Interwebs Bloggers; Sorted by Region

Problem: Too many good Australian marketing and advertising blogs to read and not enough time. Also, no knowledge of where anyone is because blogging is, like, a interwebs thing. Would like to find people nearby for beersphering and old-fashioned non-interwebs social networking.

Solution: The Complete List of Australian Marketing Interwebs Bloggers; Sorted by Region (see below)

How to Get on List or Update Details: Contact Matt at matt (at) dpdialogue.com.au, and please note that ‘complete’ is a goal, not an adjective. If I’ve overlooked anyone it’s out of ignorance not arrogance, please do feel free to add yourself! The only rules are you have to be living in Australia, you have to update your blog regularly and you have to write about marketing.

My Name is David Gillespie and I’m not on the List: That’s because you drank all my Grange and moved to Toronto, you bastard.

Isn’t Trib (acidlabs.org) in Canberra? Not sure if he is marketing (more enterprise systems) but has some marketing stuff. I’m sure there are social media marketers in Perth too. Ask @bronwen?

You spelt ‘behind’ wrong you banana. Any way you can put in “online communities marketing” or something? So it’s a bit different from the other pillocks on the list? :P
Oh and you missed shiftedpixels @nickhac. tsk tsk. I’m telling on you! *runs off*

Cracker list! And thanks for the inclusion. I really really really (did I say really?) want to see if there are more Canberra Marketing bloggers or just workers/enthusiasts/practitioners in Canberra who play in this space as I am keen to start a coffee morning. So please, if you know of people in Canberra who would be interested then please let me know.

F#$king amazing list and much needed! I’ve been waiting for something like this all my life and was probably too lazy to put one together myself. :-P
Thanks for the inclusion Matt and btw love the David Gillespie disclaimer!

Thanks for the vote Matt. The problem with the Free Beer name is that everyone likes it and uses it as link text instead of BRILLIANT MARKETING CONSULTANT, which I would much prefer. People visit the site looking for beer; I have the bounce rate from hell.

All the love I gave you in The Moggies and you still forgot to include me under Newcastle?!! My desk is about 20 feet away from The Marketer, Gordon Whitehead’s, so I am pretty sure we are in same town :)

      Cheers

Great list - wonder if we could add everyone’s twitter id in the future?

A really interesting list for those of us outside of Australia as well, especially as I’m a big advocate of expanding your reading material to include people you might otherwise never come across.

You did leave out a personal favourite though in the Sydney section - Kelly Tall’s blog (http://www.kelpenhagen.wordpress.com)

Thanks for all the suggestions, I’ve been duly adding them. I considered turning this page into a Wiki, but I know it would then become over-run with spam and evil. As for adding everyone’s Twitter feeds, I might save that for a seperate post, this one took long enough to put together, although it’s definitely been worth it!
